One of my other great interests related to sound is field recording and I just stumbled across this fascinating and inspiring short video of the sound recordist Chris Watson explaining some of his technique. Chris is probably best known for his work with the BBC Natural History Unit on the numerous David Attenborough wildlife programmes, but he also records sounds of various landscapes at the macro and micro level. The video is a brief insight into his techniques and his enthusiasm for the subject is infectious.  The first few seconds are introduced in Swedish but the rest of the video is in English.
